Meet our customers’ all-time favorite product! The Large Raw Leather Tote works perfectly for work, school, or as a mom bag. It has both an external pocket perfect for things like a phone and keys and an equally useful internal pocket as well. The little sister to our XL Raw Leather Tote, the Large tote bag is about 2 inches smaller all around. So if you like to carry A LOT of stuff around at once, you might want to upgrade to the XL!
The Story:
All of our leather- whether it is from the Noble Goat (one of the primary sources of protein in Haiti) sheep, or cow- is sourced in-country as a by-product of food. Talk about an authentic #notwasted story! Our leather products are handmade in “The Brothers” Workshop in Jubilee, a small developing community by the sea, on the outskirts of Gonaives. Founded by Benson Thermidor, this workshop employs over 20 people and is changing the story for people in this neighborhood.

I feel put together and fashionable while using this tote. It is beautiful and durable. I’ve had mine for probably 5 or 6 years now and it’s STILL in great condition and I love it. I don’t think this tote will ever go out of style. I especially love it for the size. Works like a purse but I can still fit my laptop, wallet, and a book. 10/10 would recommend.

I had been looking for a simple leather bag that I can quickly get into and have plenty of room for occasional bigger items. This fits the bill perfectly!! Very well made and so attractive. Although I normally don't spend this much for purses, this will be used for many years to come. Plus - I'm so happy that I can help out the Haitian artisans who made this. Win-win!!!

Really lovely bag
It just arrived to me in Canada a few days ago, and I'm very impressed. Super sturdy, great size (my large laptop and several paperback books fit in it, no problem). The color is a bit lighter than I expected it to be from the photos, but that's not really a huge issue. Great mission, great company, great bag.

I was excited to receive this bag recently - it was more impressive than I had expected! Great size for travel (a little large to me as an every day purse). Holds everything you need for a simple overnight stay or the perfect carry on bag. The leather is top quality and I'm pleased to support the Haitian artisans.
